As a surfer and hairdresser with over 13 years in the hair industry, I’ve always had a deep appreciation for how the elements sun and saltwater affect both hair and skin. My journey began not in a salon, but on the waves, traveling the world in search of the best surf spots. From Sri Lanka to Brazil, Mexico to Hawaii, and all the way to Indonesia and Peru, I found myself battling the same issue: how to protect my hair from the sun and saltwater while enjoying my time on the water.

  • Being a stylist with years of experience, I knew what my hair needed, but there was nothing on the market that truly offered the protection I wanted something that would actually nourish and protect my hair from the harsh UV rays and the salt of the ocean. After years of trial and error, testing countless formulas in tropical beaches, coastal town I set out to create something that worked, no matter where life took me.

  • I spent months researching and developing a product that combined my expertise as a stylist with my passion for surfing. I chose natural ingredients that would both protect and nourish my hair while withstanding the harshest climates. After countless experiments, SUNNI HAIR was born: a UV and saltwater protection spray designed for surfers, adventurers, and anyone who wants to keep their hair healthy and shiny no matter how intense the sun or ocean gets.
